In this role, you will be the operational backbone connecting procurement, production, inventory, and customer delivery — ensuring that the right materials are in the right place at the right time. Responsibilities Maintain a thorough understanding of all products manufactured by the plant and production processes utilized. Plan and manage production schedules using our MRP/ERP system, analyzing recommendations and translating them into actionable procurement and manufacturing plans. Build and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure system data accuracy. Issue purchase orders to suppliers and actively expedite materials to meet production deadlines. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, sales, and customer service to manage order fulfillment and meet delivery commitments. Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency. Works with suppliers to ensure they are prepared to meet the short, medium, and long-term requirements of the plant.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven experience with ERP/MRP systems (experience with the Priority system is a strong advantage). Solid understanding of supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment. Experience building and managing BOMs and production plans. Strong analytical skills — you are comfortable reading data, spotting trends, and acting on insights. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. Experience working with international suppliers and global logistics. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset. Statistical and spreadsheet analytical skills. Proficiency with Excel and Access. Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, and customer service
