Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (overtime as needed) Your day, start to finish At 7:00 AM you're on the laydown yard, reviewing inbound material receipts and prioritizing moves for the day. You'll stage, receive, and issue parts, update inventory in Maximo, and keep the storeroom organized so crews get what they need—on time. Between tasks, you'll hop on a forklift, telehandler, or wheel loader to relocate long, heavy items across outdoor yards. By afternoon, you're reconciling counts in Excel, confirming shipments, and locking down material accountability before closeout. What you'll handle Inventory control, cycle counts, material receipts/issues, and documentation accuracy Safe movement of heavy, awkward materials across storeroom and outdoor storage yards Operation of material handling equipment (motorized forklifts, telehandlers, wheel loader) and road vehicles Logistics support for shipping/relocating inventory within a defined territory Use of Maximo (or similar) plus Microsoft Excel and Word to maintain records Strict adherence to policies, procedures, and a Zero Harm safety culture Tools and equipment you may operate Case 821 (Wheel loader / All-terrain forklift) — ability to handle up to 16K lbs of material JLG Telehandler — operate various sizes; ability to handle 7K & 12K lbs of material Materials are often extremely heavy, long, and irregularly shaped. What makes you a strong fit High School Diploma or GED 1+ year in inventory control, material handling, warehousing, or similar Comfort with inventory software (Maximo preferred) and Microsoft Excel/Word Sound math skills; clear communication; able to work independently and with a team Physically able to lift up to 70 lbs; successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT) is required Valid state driver's license; CDL may be required—must be obtained within 6 months or the role must be vacated Capable of operating material handling equipment and road vehicles Safety-first mindset: motivated, dependable, respectful, cooperative, flexible, adaptable, punctual Work environment & culture Outdoor laydown yards and indoor storerooms; work in heat and inclement weather Construction and heavy equipment experience preferred (training available on specific equipment) Commitment to Zero Harm—safety is the top priority Dress code & PPE Steel toe boots required Jeans (long pants) and a T-shirt (no inappropriate words or pictures) All other PPE provided If you wear eyeglasses, side shields are required (not provided) Mobility Contract employees may be asked to relocate within a defined territory, temporarily or permanently.
