Job Description
Entry Level - Inventory & Supply Chain Specialist This full-time entry-level position will be working alongside the leadership team obtaining hands-on experience performing inventory and supply chain management, inventory & system maintenance, and fulfillment tasks, as well as assisting in the day-to-day activities of managing OEM client import logistics for US shipments within a global team-based environment. Join a privately owned company where you can build a long-term career. Position Description & Purpose Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional and professional communications
- Establish and maintain professional business relationships with internal teams and external clients globally
- Learn JUROP integrated software platform
- Maintain software system and corresponding documents for accuracy, such as dates, times, location, sku and quantities
- Utilize databases, spreadsheets and other sources to verify information
- Maintenance and continued improvement of item and sales data to achieve appropriate and accurate reports and communications
- Assist in the correlation of OEM inquiries and related orders
- Assist in organization of account/client US import shipments
- Assist in receiving inventory, enter shipment requests, identify availability, and prepare documentation
- Assist in order fulfillment, picking, packing and shipping
- Documentation Management - Maintain and organize both physical and electronic corporate documents pertaining to JUROP clients
- Learn JUROP products' specifications and applications
- Performing other work-related duties as required in a professional manner Necessary Competencies & Qualifications Exceptional organizational skills with an Innate business acumen Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving Maintain confidentiality and discretion Mechanical aptitude with a curiosity to learn technical products Must be able to work well within a team environment but also able to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and commitment to meet or exceed deadlines and goals High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred Valid US driver's license & legal residency of US with ability to travel internationally once a year This role requires the candidate to obtain certifications/licenses pertaining to safety, forklift equipment operations, and JUROP Physical Requirements Frequently operating a phone, computer, typing, writing, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasionally bending/stooping Visual acuity to use a keyboard and view a computer terminal Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Ability to work in an office environment Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm Ability to lift from 5-20 lbs.
