Job Summary:

Material Control role is responsible for managing the flow of product to and from the factory floor. This role requires a good understanding of shipping small parcels as well as LTL shipments and excellent time management skills. This role will manage ISO9001 requirements for traceability and company rules for how material moves around the plant.

Essential Duties:

Receive incoming material and prepare it for quality inspection in a timely manner Kit work orders and raw materials effectively following the planning schedule Receive parts from the plant floor into inventory Close work orders at the end of jobs Assign location codes to material when moving to a final location Prepare and package shipments for UPS and other common carriers Conduct inventory cycle counting weekly, investigate discrepancies Package and ship material to outside vendors for processing Communicate with outside vendors as needed Update training documentation Prepare the weekly truck run and act as backup drive when necessary Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards Other duties and projects as assigned Qualifications we are looking for:

Minimum Qualifications:

2 years of shipping and receiving experience High School diploma or GED equivalent Valid drivers license, with clean driving record Knowledge, Skills and abilities: Ability to use standard office equipment. Excellent problem solving skills Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills Ability to communicate professionally with vendors
