Job Description

Supply Chain Specialist Location:
onsite- Carlsbad, CA About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our client's team in the supply chain sector. In this role, you will contribute to managing demand and supply processes, improving supply forecast accuracy, and balancing supply with demand to enhance delivery performance. Responsibilities Collaborate with external supply organizations and global counterparts to align on the optimal supply plan using sales, inventory, and promotional data. Analyze sales data to identify exceptional or unforecasted activities and drive actions to minimize deviations from the demand plan. Coordinate projects, including new product launches and lifecycle changes, across various organizational levels. Utilize demand and supply planning system functionality to enable exception-based management and implement tools for efficiency. Improve forecast accuracy and reduce systematic forecast bias through detailed performance analyses. Coordinate actions across functions to ensure stock availability meets customer requirements. Monitor essential KPIs and develop corrective actions when necessary. Participate and provide content for the S&OP process. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field from a four-year college/university. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in sales and operations planning, demand planning, supply planning, plant operations, logistics, and/or inventory management. Experience in ERP systems. Strong understanding of how planning processes drive operations. Advanced proficiency in Excel techniques, including Vlookups and Pivot Tables. Proficient with MS Office. Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks in a constantly changing environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information to cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications (if any) Experience within the Client industry, retail, and/or beauty environment. Galderma-specific experience may be considered. Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and replenishment models. Project management skills. Experience with SAP, Oracle, and/or Demand & Supply Planning Management ERP. Self-starter, highly motivated, with problem-solving skills and result-oriented.
