Summary:
The Materials Lead position will be based in Libertyvile, IL, reporting to Program Manager is responsible for leading the work of others and participates in work related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies. Works with independence in carrying out duties with limited supervision Schedule- 6:30am-6:30pm; Rotating Schedule
- Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun
- Mon, Thurs, Fri Principal Accountabilities Coordinates the activities of subordinates and provides day-to-day leadership for material handling, inventory control, and stockroom operations.
Warehouse skills:
forklift, electronic scales, pallet jack, measuring tools, and alignment tools. Required good clerical and interpersonal skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, interest and discounts. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, and technical instructions.
