Position Summary The Inventory Analyst is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, analyzing inventory trends, optimizing stock levels, and supporting operational performance through data-driven decision making. This role partners with Operations, Procurement, Production, Shipping, Warehousing, and Service teams to monitor inventory performance, identify discrepancies, improve processes, and ensure materials are available to support customer and production requirements. Key Responsibilities Analyze inventory data to identify trends, shortages, excess inventory, and opportunities for improvement. Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Enter, validate, and audit inventory transactions including receiving, transfers, work order issuances, adjustments, returns, and asset movements within NetSuite. Develop and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support operational decision-making. Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis to drive corrective actions. Partner with Operations, Procurement, Shipping, Warehousing, Service, and Production teams to improve inventory processes and material flow. Monitor Kan-Ban levels and recommend adjustments based on demand, usage trends, and operational needs. Support inventory planning initiatives by identifying slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory. Ensure proper material labeling, storage, and inventory control procedures are maintained throughout the facility. Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on inventory accuracy, process efficiency, and cost reduction. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Logistics, or related field preferred. Three (3) or more years of inventory control, inventory analysis, supply chain, warehousing, or manufacturing experience. ERP experience required; NetSuite experience strongly preferred. Experience analyzing inventory data, variances, trends, and operational metrics. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Advanced attention to detail and ability to work with large quantities of data. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, lookups, filtering, and reporting. Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional manufacturing environment. A Typical Day May Include Review inventory reports and investigate variances impacting production or customer deliveries. Analyze inventory trends and recommend stock level adjustments. Enter and validate inventory transactions within NetSuite. Perform root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Support Shipping, Production, and Procurement with inventory planning and material availability. Develop reports and dashboards for Operations leadership. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy and process efficiency. HP123 Expected hours: 40.0 per week
