Warehouse Line Lead
Job Description
Position Summary The Line Lead is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of their assigned department while working alongside their team to meet production, quality, and safety goals. This position serves as the first point of contact for associates on the floor, providing leadership, training, coaching, and technical support to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically and technically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of making sound decisions in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Line Leads are expected to lead by example and actively participate in production whenever staffing or operational demands require. Essential Responsibilities Leadership Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse associates. Promote a positive, productive, and accountable work environment. Set the pace by leading through example. Assign daily work based on operational priorities. Monitor productivity and quality throughout the shift. Communicate production goals and department expectations. Escalate operational concerns to management when necessary. Training & Development Train new employees on department processes and work instructions. Cross-train associates to improve department flexibility. Coach employees on productivity, quality, and safety expectations. Identify opportunities for employee development. Operations Perform all duties within the department while maintaining production standards. Jump into production whenever staffing shortages or workflow require additional support. Troubleshoot operational issues and implement practical solutions. Monitor workflow and adjust assignments to maximize efficiency. Ensure all work is completed accurately and on schedule. Quality Verify products are processed according to customer specifications. Inspect work for accuracy and completeness. Identify defects, discrepancies, and process issues. Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records as required. Safety Promote a safe working environment. Ensure associates follow all safety policies and PPE requirements. Report unsafe conditions immediately. Participate in safety meetings and investigations as needed. Communication Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and other departments. Provide shift updates and production status. Report staffing concerns, equipment issues, and quality concerns promptly. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience required. Previous leadership, trainer, or lead experience preferred. Strong attendance and reliability. Basic computer skills.

Pay:
$22.99 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
