Job Summary This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting, designing and developing business solutions that improve operational efficiency across Supply Chain and Shared Services functions. The intern will work with business and technology teams on projects involving Microsoft Copilot Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and other 3rd-party tools. The role combines technology, business analysis, and process improvement to help modernize how work gets done across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the design, development, testing, and deployment of digital solutions including: Microsoft Copilot agents and AI-powered solutions. Applications with Power Apps. Automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline manual processes. Build dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation and AI use cases. Document business requirements, process flows, and solution designs. Support solution testing, user acceptance activities, and end-user training. Analyze business processes and recommend opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements. Perform data analysis to support business decision-making. Additionally, you will: Build a strong network of peers and mentors Attend intern oriented professional development opportunities Participate in sponsored community service events Gain a basic understanding of data analytics and tools Work to develop communication skills to articulate business cases clearly, and to develop effective presentations Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience Strong interest in artificial intelligence, business process automation, and digital transformation. Basic understanding of data analysis and business process improvement concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work independently. Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or similar productivity tools. Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, data visualization tools, or programming languages is preferred but not required. Education Requirements Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program majoring in computer science, data analytics, supply chain, or a related field Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above Must be graduating from their Bachelor's degree program in 2028 Test Description No Testing Required Export Control Certain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
