December 2025 Job Summary Reporting to the materials manager, the materials specialist will stock, organize and track the supply chain and inventory as well as assemble and deliver board kits in support of the production plan. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), SDS (Safety Data Sheets), company policies, and department standard operating procedures Follow industry standards for ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and MSL (Moisture Sensitivity Level) protection while handling electronic components and/or assemblies Perform all daily tasks in the materials department Receive and shelf materials in warehouse Create and update part labels using barcode scanners Monitor for, communicate issues, and expedite part shortages Update inventory locations as needed Proper use and updating of various reports and trackers Fill engineering/production part requests Assist with month end inventory Assist with annual inventory Perform inventory cycle counts as required and material recounts for inventory reconciliation Set dry boxes to bake Prepare materials for shipment Utilize first-in and first-out practices Check for and remove expired materials Create, pull, issue, and receive kits for internal and external production work orders Support purchasing functions and purchase order placement, track parts and perform incoming quality inspections Assist with generation, shipment and tracking of vendor RMA's Use and troubleshoot issues in pc/MRP materials management software Look up part information in Microsoft Access database Monitor cleanliness and organization of warehouse and workspace Communicate with management for continual improvement Perform other duties as assigned Ability to work well under pressure; manage multiple deadlines, and demonstrate cooperative behavior with teammates and supervisors Education and Experience High school education or General Education Diploma required. Two years of related experience preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access) desired.
