Job Description
Description Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Supply Chain Product Manager- Technical, with a deep understanding of SAP Supply Chain, Ariba supply chain collaboration in a manufacturing environment.
SAP S/4, SAP
MDG, and Ariba needs at Project Kuiper in-house manufacturing and outsourced manufacturing. Define and prioritize SAP S/4 supply chain, SAP MDG, FICO, and Ariba product features and requirements to ensure timely and successful delivery. Communicate with internal stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and management, to ensure alignment of the product roadmap with business objectives. Design, Architect, Configure, and Review SAP and Ariba system to meet the business requirements inMM, PP, FICO
module, Ariba PO collaboration, Forecast collaboration, Manufacturing visibility and integration to/from Amazon financial applications.Key areas include:
Master data governance: material master, bills of materials, purchasing info record, quality info record, and other objects relevant to inhouse and outsourced manufacturing Material requirements planning: planning strategy, MRP type, MRP, MRP exception and custom reports, planned order to purchase requisition conversionProcure-to-Pay:
Purchase requisition to purchase order conversion, SAP sourcing and procurement (request for quotation, purchase order, pricing condition, account assignment, item category, inbound delivery, goods receipt), and integration with Amazon financial applications Forecast collaboration: forecast, commit, inventory visibility, projected stock, min/max inventory alerts Manufacturing visibility: business process workflow, as-build genealogy, serial number and lot track and traceInventory Management:
Manage inventory levels to ensure that enough raw materials and finished goods are available to meet demand, while minimizing excess inventory.Production planning and control:
Plan and control production activities to ensure that production operations are meeting demand while also optimizing the use of resources and minimizing waste.Quality Control:
Enable visibility to the cost of quality to drive continuous product & manufacturing process improvements.Cost of Goods Analysis:
Enable visibility to the true cost of producing the products to make informed decisions about profitability.Cost Accounting:
Track and allocate the costs associated with productionExample:
Direct costs, labor and material, as well as indirect costs such as overhead and depreciation. Managing integration across SAP models specifically Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and finance and costing (FICO), Ariba integration, Coupa integration, and Amazon financial system integration. Active participation in Unit Test, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, Training to ensure success and meet customer requirements. Ensure that software products are delivered on time and within budget. Drives product discussion vision, goals, tenets, monthly business review with executive (tech/non-tech) with business users' adoption and support user training. Due to the need to access certain federal controlled information, you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration A day in the life Be an expert product development and configuration in S/4 ERP (MM, PP, GTS), SAP MDG, and Ariba supply chain collaboration. Be responsible for process and product capabilities in: Material Master, Master Data Governance, Procure-to-Pay, Material Requirement Planning, Purchase Order Collaboration, Forecast Collaboration, Manufacturing visibility, Business-to-business messages (B2B), SAP universal journal (ACDOCA), General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Consolidation, Material Ledger, Product costing, Profit Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Activity Based Costing, and Month-end / period-end closing, and Integration to/from Amazon corporate financial systems. Deliver the right product solutions independently, with limited guidance. Drive product discussions. You are able to distill clear requirements from large and diverse sets of customers, partners, vendors, engineering team builders, and business entities. You understand the systems and technologies behind S/4, E2Open, and finance product suites, its limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons for architectural decisions based on supply chain, finance, accounting, and costing customers and/or technical assumptions. Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree
- Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer facing roles
- 7+ years of experience working as a functional analyst, product manager or in a related role with SAP and Ariba for manufacturing companies. Preferred Qualifications

- Team management, performance management, coaching and mentoring
