Job Description
Job Overview A unique opportunity to assist Seton Youth Services in continuing to fulfill its mission of providing a safe haven, counseling and outreach services, 24 hours a day, without charge, to assist youth in crisis throughout Hampton Roads, with the goal of reuniting families.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organized, possess competency in math and superior written and verbal communication skills. Candidate will demonstrate proficiency in cross-supporting administrative and project functions of a fast-paced, non-profit organization.Additional requirements:
2-4 years non-profit experience preferred. Must be able to perform job duties in a variety of environments and work spaces. Some schedule flexibility. Professional appearance and conduct mandatory. Administration Support Responsibilities (approximately 10 hours per week):- Prepare bi-weekly bank deposits with accompanying documentation.
- Assist Director of Administration with credit card reconciliation, confidential records management.
- Handle sensitive HR information in a professional and discreet manner. Support to CEO (approximately 10-15 hours per week).
- Assist donors/Process donations.
- Assist with Board of Directors, Committee, and special project/special event meeting preparation, and material preparation.
- Assist with major donor requests and relations.
- Assist CEO with Assist with SYS signature special events and staff events.
- Receive and review volunteer applications and forward to related program directors.
- Other duties as assigned by CEO.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree in Administration, Business or Liberal Studies.
- Proficiency in AP/AR.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Professional appearance and conduct mandatory.
- Strict adherence to Administrative and Program confidentiality policies and practices.
