Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Operations Analyst - Onsite position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Brea, CA. This is a 4 month contract opportunity.
Reporting to the Branch Service Manager, this role is responsible for processing a variety of new accounts for customers, including checking, IRA, and CDs. The representative will collect required information,plete account setups, and provide excellent customer service regarding interest rates, fees, and bank policies. Duties also include operating a cash drawer, processing transactions, resolving customer issues, and cross-selling bank services while ensuringpliance with all banking regulations.
Responsibilities:
Assist consumer and business customers in their selection of various accounts, products, and financial services
Interview customers to obtain information, establish proper identification, and determine the need for reference investigation
Make decisions regarding the opening of new accounts, assign account numbers, and prepare all necessary documents
Accurately process all teller transactions including over the counter, night drop, courier, and mail
Operateputer terminal to process account activity, determine balances, and resolve problems
Cross-sell products and services as opportunities are recognized
Provide leadership and guidance to BSR staff andmunicate concerns to the Branch Service Manager
Assist management with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
Support branch audit certifications andply with bank operations and security procedures
Provide effective customer service by answering questions, investigating errors, and resolving issues
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Business or equivalent experience
- 3 or more years of new accounts experience; or the equivalentbination of education and experience
- Work-related experience should consist of a financial institution operations, sales, or customer service background
- Broad knowledge in new account documentations (i.e., Fiduciary, Corporations, etc)
- Intermediate experience, knowledge, and training in branch operation activities, terminology, and products and services
- Broad knowledge of related state and federal bankingpliance regulations and other Bank operational policies
- Intermediate skills inputer terminal and personalputer operation, including word processing, spreadsheet, and account opening software
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonalmunication skills
- Basic math skills to calculate interest, balance accounts, and count currency
- Pay range up to: $29.61 per hour
