Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Operations Analyst - Onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in Brea, CA. This is a 3-month contract opportunity. This position is fully onsite.
Compensation:
Up to $29.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Branch Service Manager, the New Accounts Representative is responsible for processing a variety of new accounts for customers including checking, IRA, CD, and others. This role involves collecting required information from new customers,pleting the account setup process, and answering questions regarding interest rates, fees, and policies. Duties also include responding to customer inquiries, resolvingplex issues, operating a cash drawer, and making appropriate referrals to cross-sell a variety of services whileplying with all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist consumer and business customers in their selection of various accounts, products, and financial services, presenting cross-sell opportunities using professional sales techniques
Interview customers to obtain information, establish proper identification, and determine the need for reference investigation
Make decisions regarding the opening of new accounts, assign account numbers,plete forms, check credit history, accept initial deposits, and prepare all related documents for processing
Accurately process all teller transactions including over the counter, night drop, courier, and mail
Operateputer terminal to process account activity, determine balances, and resolve problems within given authority
Provide leadership and guidance to BSR staff andmunicate training or service concerns to the Branch Service Manager
Assist management with daily reports and the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as assigned
Comply with operations and security procedures and participate in all dual-control functions
Provide effective customer service by answering customer questions, investigating and correcting errors, and resolving problems
Support branch audit certifications (ICRP) processes as duties are assigned
Primary Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Business or equivalent experience
3+ years of new accounts experience, or the equivalentbination of education and experience in a financial institution operations, sales, or customer service background
Broad knowledge in new account documentations (i.e., Fiduciary, Corporations etc.)
Intermediate experience, knowledge, and training in branch operation activities, terminology, and products and services relating to retail andmercial account customers
Broad knowledge of related state and federal bankingpliance regulations, and other operational policies
Intermediate skills inputer terminal and personalputer operation, including word processing, spreadsheet, and account opening software programs
Effective oral, written, and interpersonalmunication skills with the ability to carry out instructions, interpret documents, and speak clearly to customers and employees
Basic math skills to calculate interest, balance accounts, and count currency and negotiable instruments
