Job Description

Party Reference Data - Operations (PRD-Ops) is a JPMorgan & Chase function that supports every line of business. "Parties" are the entities the bank does business with and around—clients, issuers, obligors, guarantors, counterparties, exchanges, and more. Managing this data end-to-end (from onboarding through disposition) matters because party reference data is embedded in virtually every transaction: it links parties to contracts, accounts, and transactions. As a Party Reference Data Associate, you will ensure client/party reference data is accurate, consistent, and traceable across the Global Bank within the CIB in a highly regulated environment. You will manage party data end-to-end (onboarding through disposition) for entities such as clients, issuers, obligors, guarantors, counterparties, and exchanges—data that underpins most transactions by linking parties to contracts, accounts, and activity. You will resolve BAU data requests and inquiries across core platforms (Aurora, Party Central, Salesforce, SharePoint) within strict SLAs, serving as the front-line SME for process, system functionality, and data content. You will partner with Reference Data Technology (RDT), Operations, Product Owners, and Change/Release teams to triage issues, investigate root causes, and implement sustainable fixes. You will also maintain knowledge content, track and report KPIs and trends to senior management, and identify opportunities to improve controls, data quality, and automation.
Job Responsibilities:
Act as SME for Commercial Bank/Global Bank business process, system functionality, and data content across Aurora, Party Central, Salesforce, and SharePoint; process BAU party/client data requests. Execute requests with high accuracy and within defined SLAs; manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Partner with Technology, Operations, Product Owners, and Change Management to resolve defects, edge cases, and recurring issues; drive root-cause remediation. Maintain a strong control environment across workstreams and programs; ensure work is executed in line with governance and operational risk expectations. Own CDM-related inquiries supporting the helpdesk/service desk initiative (intake, triage, updates, closure). Publish recurring performance reporting (metrics/KPIs/trends) to senior stakeholders; surface patterns and recommend process improvements. Identify and implement automation and process optimization opportunities within BAU/service desk workflows. Maintain and enhance knowledge bases, FAQs, and self-service resources to reduce repetitive inquiries and improve user enablement. Support broader governance and analytics initiatives within the Reference Data space. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant financial services experience; reference data exposure preferred. Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail; able to work independently and make sound decisions. Effective communicator (written/verbal) with confidence presenting updates and trends to stakeholders/senior management. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; collaborative, team-oriented, adaptable to change.
