Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Process Safety (PSM) Professional to support and enhance our client's safety and operational practices. This is a contract position with a duration of 1-2 years, offering apetitive per diem and PTO benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in mentoring operations personnel to enhance their kledge and proficiency. Provide guidance on Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) facilitation to upskill participants and promote Best Practices. establish a sustainable and mature Incident Investigation Process (including Root Cause Failure Analyses - RCFA). Support day-to-day incident calibration, alignment, and correct categorization, while coaching mid-level management on incident management. Assist with
MOC/PMOC/MOOC
processes and contribute to the creation of a process utilizing thepany's MOC Process Tool. Transition paper-based MOCs into a new digital system. Work closely with the Process Safety Management (PSM) Manager on program development and perform gap analysis on current PSM programs.
Qualifications:
3-6 years of refinery experience, 2-4 years in Process Safety Hands-on experience with MOC processes, PHA facilitation, incident investigation, and incident management. Proficiency in incident investigation methodologies such as RCA, Fishbone, Taproot, etc. A degree is not required, but relevant experience is essential.
