What You'll Do Ensure Peak Performance:
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on server hardware and computing equipment to keep our mining operations running at maximum efficiency
Troubleshoot & Solve:
Diagnose and rapidly resolve hardware and software issues to minimize downtime and optimize operational performance
Monitor & Analyze:
Track critical performance metrics—power consumption, temperature, operational parameters—and identify inefficiencies before they impact uptime
Maintain Safety Excellence:
Operate in full OSHA compliance and actively champion safety culture across the facility
Secure & Protect:
Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard personnel, equipment, and digital assets
Collaborate & Lead:
Work seamlessly with your operations team to optimize workflows and implement best practices (Technician II will mentor junior staff)
Inventory & Documentation:
Maintain accurate, detailed records of equipment, serial numbers, locations, and specifications
Stay Current:
Keep pace with evolving industry technology and best practices in mining operations
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience maintaining and troubleshooting servers and computer hardware Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for hardware and software issues Solid knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and cooling solutions in data center environments Ability to lift regularly (50+ lbs) and work comfortably in industrial facility environments Willingness to obtain OSHA 10, scissor lift, sky lift, and forklift certifications within the first 2 months of employment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Technical certifications or degrees (electrical engineering, networking, IT, or related fields) Familiarity with mining software and monitoring tools (CGMiner, Bitmain Antminer Toolkit) Previous experience in cryptocurrency mining or large data center operations Strong independent problem-solving ability and attention to detail Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Ability to thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments Operations Technician II - Additional Leadership Opportunities If you have 3+ years of hands-on technical experience, consider our Operations Technician II role, all the above responsibilities plus:
Lead and Mentor:
Provide guidance and training to Operations Technician I team members
Drive Improvements:
Develop and implement operational solutions for maintenance projects and site-wide performance enhancements
Manage Training Programs:
Oversee team certification schedules and ensure completion of mandatory OSHA and technical certifications
Critical Problem Response:
Handle time-sensitive technical issues with urgency and expertise
Travel:
Up to 25% travel for facility support across multiple sites Additional Qualifications for

Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience Advanced proficiency in troubleshooting complex systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
