This role works closely with production associates, line leadership, and support teams to identify operational losses, track improvement opportunities, and promote consistent use of continuous improvement tools.

The starting hourly wage for this role is 31.15

Work Schedule:
1st Shift Overtime and weekend work required as dictated by demand Key Responsibilities Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to reduce waste, rework, downtime, and operational losses. Coordinate and track rework activities to maximize product recovery and minimize waste. Partner with Housekeepers and production teams to identify, document, and report causes of waste. Maintain and analyze continuous improvement data using Excel and other available reporting tools. Enforce and track the use of CI tools, including CI iPads, CIL documentation, defect tags, and the overfill tracking tool. Conduct 5S audits each shift and partner with the appropriate teams to resolve identified issues. Communicate trends, findings, and improvement opportunities to the CI Supervisor and plant leadership. Support problem-solving activities and follow up on assigned corrective actions. Coach and motivate production employees to participate in continuous improvement efforts. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Complete additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or manager. Safety and Quality Responsibilities Demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to employee safety, food safety, and product quality. Follow all plant safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP principles, and applicable policies. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow lockout/tagout and personal protective equipment requirements. Identify and report unsafe conditions, injuries, quality concerns, and potential operational losses. Partner with employees and leaders to address safety and quality concerns promptly. Qualifications At least one year of production or manufacturing experience preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn plant systems and CI reporting tools. Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and communicate operational data. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to prioritize assignments and manage multiple responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with production employees, supervisors, and plant leadership. Ability to coach others and influence improvements without direct supervisory authority. Adaptability and willingness to support changing operational priorities.
