Job Description

Position Summary LBT is seeking a detail‑oriented S&OP Analyst to support production planning, inventory management, operational reporting, and cross‑functional Sales & Operations Planning. This role bridges Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Design & Engineering (D&E) to ensure accurate schedules, reliable inventory levels, and data‑driven decision making. Key Responsibilities Maintain the Master Production Schedule based on demand, inventory, capacity, and material availability. Review sales orders, forecasts, and backlog to set production priorities and customer lead times. Create and manage manufacturing jobs in the ERP system; monitor progress against plan. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve material shortages, scheduling constraints, and production risks. Manage finished goods inventory, safety stock, and slow‑moving or excess inventory initiatives. Lead or support weekly S&OP, planned revenue, and forecasting activities. Build operational dashboards and reports covering production, inventory, backlog, and key performance metrics. Extract and analyze data using ERP systems, Excel, SQL, and other reporting tools to identify trends and risks. Maintain ERP planning master data and partner with D&E on configuration management. Support inventory accuracy, material usage reviews, and continuous improvement across planning and manufacturing. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years in production planning, scheduling, supply chain planning, inventory management, or operations analysis. Experience with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to manage shifting priorities and constraints in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills and comfort working cross‑functionally with all levels. Preferred Qualifications 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing planning or analytics experience. Experience maintaining a Master Production Schedule or supporting S&OP processes.

APICS/ASCM CPIM

certification or progress toward certification. Advanced Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query). Experience with SQL, Power BI, or similar BI/reporting tools. Background in safety stock analysis, inventory optimization, forecasting, or capacity planning. Exposure to Lean or continuous‑improvement practices. Experience in defense, aerospace, textile, sewn products, or regulated manufacturing environments. Responsibilities may evolve based on business needs. LBT is an equal opportunity employer.
