Manager, Promo Strategy & Scheduling Hallmark Media - 2.0 Burbank, CA Job Details $70,100 - $93,400 a year 23 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Supervising experience Team management Decision making Cross-functional collaboration Data-driven decision making Cross-functional communication Full Job Description The Manager, Promo Strategy & Scheduling leads the strategic scheduling and execution of promotional content across Hallmark Media linear and digital platforms including Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery, Hallmark Family, Hallmark+, Non-Stop Live Channels, YouTube and our FAST channels. This role ensures campaigns align with business goals through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, while supporting high-level strategy. In addition to hands-on scheduling, this role manages the end-to-end process of daily promotional delivery and execution and serves as a backup for the Senior Manager, Promo Strategy & Scheduling. The salary range for this job is between $70,100-$93,400. Salary rate will take into consideration several factors including location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead weekly promotional planning across Hallmark Channel's linear and non-linear platforms using GRiPit, ensuring alignment with campaign strategies and audience goals. Manage the crafting and communication of weekly premiere plans and key campaign milestones in coordination with PR, Programming, Creative, and Marketing teams. Oversee daily promo scheduling and trafficking across linear networks, Hallmark+, YouTube, Non-Stop Live Channels, our FAST channels and other digital platforms. Ensure consistent branding and timing across all touchpoints, including Social and Paid Media. Be the primary liaison with Brand Production & Network Operations in tracking weekly promo and graphics deliveries, ensuring all deadlines and creative specifications are met. Approve work orders in OAP database in partnership with Creative Services, including multi-version orders and flight dates for both on-air and digital campaigns. Monitor campaign execution through reports, as-run logs, and post-logs; assess performance and provide actionable insights for optimization. Supervise coordinator support, provide training, and continuously identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the efficiency of media strategy operations. Serve as the backup to the Senior Manager, providing leadership support and assuming responsibilities in their absence.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Media, or related field, or equivalent years of in-field experience. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in media strategy, promo scheduling, traffic/commercial operations, or related scheduling areas, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience using GRiPit, FreeWheel, Wide Orbit, FileMaker Pro, and OAP strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Collaborative, team-first attitude with excellent interpersonal communication skills. Initiative-taking with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Knowledge of media metrics and a data-driven approach to scheduling and campaign strategy. Hallmark Media is an equal opportunity employer.
