Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Night Manager - Rental Operations to lead our overnight rental services. This pivotal role involves overseeing rental activities during nighttime hours, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional customer service, and efficient inventory management. As a Night Manager, you will be the key point of contact for both staff and customers during your shift, maintaining high standards of safety, organization, and sales performance. Your leadership will drive a positive environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.

Primary responsibilities:

Oversee rental operations during evening and nighttime hours Understand and manage fleet operations, including vehicle availability, movement, utilization, and readiness Supervise, schedule, train, and support rental and return employees Ensure customers receive prompt and professional service Monitor rentals, returns, exit activity, and vehicle-lot operations Coordinate vehicle needs and resolve fleet shortages or operational issues Review rental transactions, paperwork, payments, and closing reports for accuracy Address escalated customer concerns and employee issues Ensure company policies, safety procedures, and service standards are followed Communicate shift activity, fleet concerns, staffing matters, and unresolved issues to senior management Help achieve operational, customer-service, and revenue goals Required and preferred qualifications: A minimum of three to five years of management or supervisory experience A strong understanding of fleet and rental operations Rental industry experience is preferred Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to supervise employees and make sound decisions independently Strong organizational and administrative skills Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Compensation:
