Full Job Description Program Name :
Revenue Acquisition Department (RAD) Works with the following population : Mental Health; Substance Abuse.
Days & Time :
This position will work 40 hours a week. Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm, with a 1-hour break.
Pay :
$34,278 - $37,706 per year
Job Responsibilities:
Under general to limited supervision, the candidate will: Serve as a liaison between management, staff, payers, the public, and outside representatives, while supporting compliance with commercial insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, and other regulatory requirements. Attend billing meetings and required trainings. Provide staff training on CareLogic, financials, and completing assigned reports by established deadlines. Work all unpaid claims for assigned programs within forty-five (45) of billing and resolve registration errors, billing holds, denials, failed claims, and payment discrepancies. Process ASO's, enter authorizations, and monitor eligibility. Run billing and tracking reports. Rebill claims. Maintain CareLogic staff access and system mappings. Resolve tickets through the agency's ticketing system.
Minimum Requirements :
The candidate MUST have an Associate's degree in a related discipline, OR certification and experience in the field. In either case, the candidate MUST have a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in healthcare billing, claims management, or revenue cycle operations. The candidate MUST be proficient in Microsoft office, especially in Excel. The candidate MUST have strong verbal and written communication, in addition to organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills. ================================================================= New Horizons Behavioral Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of color, race, national origin, age sex, religion, or disability.
