Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise operations workforce
- Develop and monitor operations plans and schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to meet schedules
- Track and analyze operation efficiency measures
- Lead process improvement and initiate change
- Enforce and promote safe working practices
- Work with Sales Manager to maintain an adequate inventory of all packages through accurate forecasting and ordering.
- Assure accuracy of inventories for all packages.
- Maintains accurate inventories of empty cooperage and minimize them
- Performs weekly age code tracking reports and acts as needed or as directed by the General Manager to minimize finished product loss (FPL)
- Oversees building and grounds maintenance to create a neat, clean and organized look
- Participate in the development of annual budgets for vehicles, warehouse, equipment expenses and capital expenditures
- Reviews and approves for payment all operations related invoices/billings from vendors/suppliers
- Conducts safety meetings at least annually
- Completes accurate cooperage, inventory, ABC, and other supplier reports at or before their due dates
- Make sure all operations related AEA standards are met
- Maximizes AOE operations related score while staying within budget
- Pickup and drop off product at other wholesalers as needed. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Leadership skills, comfort level with change, and the ability to lead change
- Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation
- Technical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work as needed including weekends and holidays
- Must have a valid CDL driver's license and safe driving record Supervised by:
