Role:

Large Marine Wholesaler is seeking Warehouse Manager must have experience in all phases of warehousing, shipping, receiving, routing delivery trucks, and managing people. We are located in Harahan. Hours 7-5:30 ish M-F. Position will grow into a Operations Manager role.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within manufacturing or warehouse settings. Proven track record in managing teams and improving employee performance. Strong knowledge of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements. Demonstrated experience in cost control and operational efficiency initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise daily operations in manufacturing and warehouse environments to ensure smooth and efficient processes. Lead, mentor, and evaluate employee performance to build a motivated and high-performing team. Develop and enforce workplace safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment and comply with OSHA regulations. Implement cost control and cost reduction strategies to optimize budget utilization without compromising quality or safety. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational bottlenecks and develop solutions for continuous improvement.
