Operations Shuttle Supervisor Pacific Rail Services (PRS)

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour (based on experience)

Pacific Rail Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Shuttle Supervisor to oversee daily shuttle operations and lead a team responsible for the safe and efficient movement of customer vehicles throughout our facility. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing people, solving operational challenges, and maintaining high standards for safety, productivity, and customer service.

What You'll Do:

Lead and supervise daily shuttle operations. Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate workload, staffing, safety expectations, and operational goals. Monitor vehicle inventory and ensure vehicles are moved safely and efficiently. Oversee employee productivity and performance standards. Assign work based on operational priorities and staffing levels. Conduct safety observations and enforce company safety policies. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues. Perform operational audits and ensure compliance with procedures. Coach, train, and develop team members. Complete employee evaluations and performance documentation. Coordinate with other departments to maintain workflow and meet customer expectations.

Qualifications:

Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Experience in automotive logistics, rail operations, transportation, warehousing, yard operations, or a related field preferred. Strong leadership and employee management skills. Excellent organizational and inventory management abilities. Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to monitor productivity and adjust staffing as business needs change. Experience conducting safety observations, audits, and employee coaching. Basic computer proficiency and experience with operational tracking systems. Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
