Job Description

We're hiring SAT Testing Staff to support upcoming SAT administrations at Hennepin Technical College
  • Eden Prairie Campus as part of our Fall & Winter 2026 program. This is a flexible, well-paid way to earn extra income while helping students through an important day
  • a great fit for teachers, substitute teachers, college students, event and hospitality staff, or anyone comfortable helping manage a group in an organized setting.
What You'll Do Depending on where staffing needs are greatest, you'll be placed in one of these roles:
Proctor:
Manage a testing room: verify student IDs, guide students through instructions, monitor the room, use the required digital tools, and flag any issues to the Test Coordinator.
Technology Monitor:
Help make sure devices are test-ready, troubleshoot basic connectivity issues, and support smooth operations on test day. Support (Hall/Room)
Monitor:
Help with room setup and check-in, keep testing areas organized and distraction-free, direct student traffic, support breaks, and flag concerns to the Test Coordinator. You'll find out your specific role, campus, and test date once your availability is confirmed
  • before your required training.
Pay Every role is paid the same rate.
Morning-only:
$250 guaranteed, 6:30 AM-11:30 AM Rate include the required 2-hour on-site training the evening before the exam. Where & When Testing takes place at Hennepin Technical College (Eden Prairie).

Training Schedule Virtual training:
1 hour, scheduled online after you're hired
  • paid at $25 for your first training session On-site training: Required, Friday evening before your test date (typically 5:00-7:00 PM), at your assigned campus Test day: Saturday, 6:30 AM sharp arrival You'll need to be available for all three before you're confirmed for an assignment.
What You'll Need To apply: High school diploma or equivalent At least 18 years old (Proctors must be 25+) Comfortable supporting students and following clear procedures Comfortable with basic digital check-in tasks Able to stand/walk for 5-6 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally help move desks or chairs To bring on test day: A laptop or tablet that supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) A smartphone (iOS or Android) with WhatsApp installed
