Job Description

We are a dynamic manufacturing company seeking a motivated and results driven Operations Administrator to join our Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, proactive individual to support the smooth and efficient coordination of our day-to-day Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager.
  • Prepare, update and maintain reports, spreadsheets and operational records.
  • Coordinate communication between the Sales, Dispatch, Quality and Production Planning departments.
  • Assist with the completion of credits and non-conformance reports.
  • Check pricing on customer orders and ensure all orders are accurately captured on Syspro.
  • Follow up on stock requirements for outstanding customer orders.
  • Compile the daily dispatch plan and coordinate with Dispatch Clerks.
  • Process and maintain filing of documentation relating to Sales, Dispatch, Quality and Production Planning.
  • Monitor departmental action items and deadlines and provide daily progress reports to the Operations Manager.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and manual filing systems.
  • Handle customer correspondence, telephone calls and emails when required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • A qualification in Business Administration, Office Administration or a related field will be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Experience working on Syspro ERP will be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
