TOW OPERATIONS MANAGER - WIZARDS RECOVERY
Wizards Recovery is seeking a motivated, strategic, and hands-on Tow Operations Manager to help lead and grow our towing and recovery division. This is a key leadership role for someone capable of overseeing daily towing operations, improving efficiency, managing drivers, and helping grow the department long-term. We are looking for someone who can think operationally, solve problems quickly, and help build systems that keep the company moving forward. This is NOT just an office position. The ideal candidate must be capable of leading operations while also stepping into the field and driving when needed. As this is a newer and growing division of the company, we are looking for someone who wants to help build something bigger long-term and take ownership of operational success. Responsibilities- Lead and supervise the tow operations team, providing direction, coaching, accountability, and performance feedback to maintain strong productivity and efficiency
- Develop and execute operational strategies to improve towing processes, reduce unnecessary costs, improve response times, and strengthen service quality
- Oversee day-to-day towing workflow including dispatching, scheduling, completed jobs, payments, collections, and driver coordination
- Help oversee operational profitability by monitoring workflow, improving efficiency, controlling expenses, and identifying opportunities for additional revenue and growth
- Implement process improvements to streamline workflows, improve safety standards, increase organization, and elevate overall operational performance
- Build and maintain commercial accounts and business relationships
- Coordinate marketing efforts including advertisements, business cards, branding, and local outreach when needed
- Assist with towing and field operations when necessary
- Monitor operational KPIs, productivity, response times, and overall performance
- Help create structure, systems, and accountability within the towing department What We're Looking For
- Strong leadership and management ability
- Experience in towing, transportation, logistics, recovery, or related operations preferred
- Ability to think critically and solve operational problems efficiently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage drivers, workflow, customer interactions, and operational priorities simultaneously
- Financial awareness and understanding of operational efficiency
- Self-motivated with a growth mindset and willingness to help build a department long-term
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus)
- Willingness to drive and assist operationally when needed ImportantThere is no dedicated sales department — this role helps create growth opportunities directly. That may include helping secure accounts, improving marketing efforts, strengthening operational systems, and helping grow the towing side overall. What We Offer
