Job Description

The Rover Supervisor at the Bozeman Hot Springs plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and proper guest conduct of all guests while maintaining a welcoming environment. This position requires overseeing safety and facility standards, as well as overseeing a team of staff members who are responsible for towel stocking, addressing incidents, and monitoring guest conduct. Key responsibilities include conducting regular safety drills, conducting training sessions for new staff, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and resort policies. Strong leadership skills are essential, alongside excellent communication abilities to effectively interact with both staff and guests. The Rover Supervisor must also have strong organizational skills, exercise strong judgment and decision-making abilities, pay close attention to detail, have strong time management skills, and interact in a professional and courteous manner with guests and fellow staff.

Job Responsibilities :

Safety/Guest Conduct:

Make sure all pool rules are being enforced by Rovers and that safety equipment is functional.

▪

Incidents:

Create and train Rovers to handle all possible incidents in the facility, including medical scenarios and guest disturbances. Maintain accurate logs and procedures accessible to all Rovers. Ensure reports are filed correctly and accurately.

Communication:

Communicate any issues or updates to the staff members on shift in a timely manner. Collaborate & communicate with Cleaning Supervisors to facilitate cleaning needs. Ensures Rovers have responded to all Teams messages & requests in a timely and appropriate manner.

Pools/Locker Rooms/Towels:

Ensure all pool temps have been maintained at appropriate temperatures and logged per state regulation. Ensure member/public locker rooms are being maintained per BHS standards (towels stocked, dirty towels removed). Maintain towel stock in public areas for every hour of operation.

Gym:

Assist gym staff in enforcing guest conduct standards. Process all gym towels through laundry as needed. Check for trash, dirty towels and empty wipes as you perform hourly checks on the fitness area.

Procedures:

Maintain and create procedures as needed. Update procedures for staff based on service needs and department development.

▪

Campground:

Monitor safety and guest conduct at campground; assist with processing check-in's and check-out's. Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of customer service experience CPR Certification Emergency Response Experience Schedule (40 hours per week) Thursday

  • 1:00 PM-Close (hours change with the season) Saturday-Open-12:30am (hours change with the season) Sunday-10am
