This includes managing staff, referees, and coaches, ensuring equipment is available and properly set up, and addressing any issues that arise. Your role is to ensure everything runs smoothly so that players, parents, and coaches have a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all sports activities and operations at the assigned venue. Manage and supervise referees, coaches, and staff to ensure games are officiated and organized according to i9 Sports standards. Ensure proper setup and breakdown of fields or courts, coordinating with staff as needed. Retrieve and return equipment from the designated storage facility if necessary. Serve as the main point of contact for parents, coaches, referees, and staff during game day operations. Ensure games start and finish on schedule while maintaining a safe and fun environment. Address and resolve any on-site issues efficiently and professionally. Provide feedback and support to staff and coaches to maintain high-quality experiences. Uphold i9 Sports' mission and values by fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership and organizational skills. Previous experience in sports, event management, or leadership roles is preferred. Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. Must be punctual, reliable, and professional. Ability to lift and carry sports equipment (up to 50 lbs). Availability to work weekends. Reliable transportation to travel between venues.
