The Role As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the reception, housekeeping, locker rooms, and lifeguard team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the overall success of operations while meeting or exceeding guest satisfaction and product quality standards.
- Ensure that all departments achieve or exceed guest service expectations.
- Prepare team member schedules in accordance with budgets and business forecasts.
- Train spa staff in financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables, ensuring these procedures are consistently followed.
- Work closely with cleaning staff to improve cleanliness standards.
- Inform guests about all spa services and amenities.
- Assist with check-in/check-out procedures, telephone inquiries, spa amenities, and computer systems.
- Handle recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, training, and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate with the Spa and Food and Beverage teams to ensure operations run smoothly in tandem.
- Take on additional responsibilities, such as Manager on Duty (MOD), to enhance operations.
- Monitor and follow up on chargebacks and skippers. Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating spa POS systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Highly motivated team player with a strong initiative and desire for achievement.
- Effective at addressing workplace problems, including anticipating, preventing, and solving issues as needed.
- Ability to remain calm and work well in stressful situations.
- Approachable and readily available for all guests, providing excellent guest service.
- Capacity to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends.
Pay:
$55,207.23- $66,486.
