Job Description

About the Position Total Security LLC is seeking a motivated, experienced, and dependable Operations Manager to join our security services team. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Gate Attendant program , ensuring employees are properly staffed, trained, supervised, and performing their duties in accordance with company and client standards. This is a hands-on management position . The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in the field, visiting multiple locations, communicating with employees and client management, and addressing operational issues as they arise. Primary Responsibilities Oversee the daily activities and performance of Gate Attendants at assigned locations. Conduct regular site visits to ensure employees are following company policies, procedures, and client expectations. Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, appearance, professionalism, and overall job performance. Ensure all assigned shifts are properly staffed and coordinate coverage for call-offs, absences, and open shifts. Provide ongoing coaching and corrective action when employees are not meeting company or client expectations. Review employee performance and conduct follow-up training or Skill Reinforcement Sessions when necessary. Maintain regular communication with Gate Attendants and address questions, concerns, and operational issues. Communicate with our client's management team to ensure excellent customer service and resolve concerns quickly. Review incident reports, employee reports, and other operational documentation for accuracy and completeness. Monitor compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and client-specific requirements. Conduct employee video audits and performance reviews in accordance with company policies. Work closely with senior management to identify staffing needs, operational problems, and opportunities for improvement. Maintain accurate scheduling and employee records. Respond to emergencies and urgent staffing or operational issues when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned by company management. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can hold employees accountable while maintaining professional and positive working relationships with the team. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, proactive, and comfortable managing employees across multiple locations. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of previous management or supervisory experience overseeing multiple employees is required. Security, loss prevention, or multi-site management experience preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities simultaneously. Comfortable conducting frequent field and site visits. Ability to address employee performance issues professionally and effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Must be able to successfully pass an Ohio criminal background check and obtain an Ohio Guard Card. Must be available to respond to occasional after-hours operational issues. Must be comfortable using a smartphone, computer, scheduling software, and other company technology.
