Your New Role:
One of Portland's most prominent business law firms is expanding their leadership team. They're in the market for an accountable, forward-thinking HR & Operations Manager capable of overseeing a large support staff. Alongside the firm's tenured COO, you'll supervise the team of paralegals and legal assistants. This will include managing workflow, delegating tasks, providing coaching and training, and arranging coverage. The firm will rely on you to set expectations for the support staff, keeping an eye on workload, performance concerns, and the team dynamics. You'll handle recruiting and onboarding with a proactive, thoughtful approach to succession planning and professional development. Your legal support background will provide you with the perspective and problem-solving skills you'll need to succeed in this role. The team will appreciate your in-depth understanding of the complexity of supporting a roster of high-powered attorneys. This is an in-office position.
