Your primary focus will be to organize the dining room seating flow, lead the others hosts, and inform the team regarding special occasions/dietary restrictions/etc... We are looking for someone with strong experience with a desire to learn and grow with the team and company. Duties Oversee all aspects of restaurant reservations, including managing the booking system Toast. Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional guest services and maintaining positive guest relations throughout their visit. Coordinate table management to optimize seating arrangements, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall dining experience. Lead the host team by providing training on etiquette, communication skills, and customer service standards. Handle guest communication regarding bookings. Monitor food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations during all guest interactions. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events, supporting food service staff as needed. Maintain detailed records of reservations, guest preferences, and special requests to personalize service and improve future visits. Utilize restaurant table management systems effectively to track reservations, seating plans, and waitlists. Support the team in resolving guest concerns promptly to uphold high levels of guest satisfaction.
Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
