Assistant Content Manager Rytech Restoration of the Midlands Columbia, SC 29203 Job Overview Rytech Restoration of the Midlands is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Content Manager to help lead our growing contents restoration team. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising crews, coordinating field operations, managing pack-outs and pack-backs, overseeing inventory control, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service during challenging situations for our clients. Travel and occasional overnight stays may be required throughout South Carolina and Georgia based on business needs. Responsibilities, Leadership & Team Management Supervise and lead contents restoration crews on job sites Assign daily work activities and monitor project progress Train, coach, and mentor team members Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards Promote teamwork, accountability, and professional development Contents Restoration Operations Oversee residential and commercial pack-outs and pack-backs Ensure accurate inventory tracking and documentation Coordinate contents cleaning related to water, fire, smoke, and mold losses Manage storage, transportation, and vaulting logistics Conduct quality control inspections and final customer walkthroughs Scheduling & Administrative Support Coordinate crew schedules and daily work assignments Assist with workforce planning and staffing needs Support on-call scheduling and emergency response readiness Maintain job records, reports, and project documentation Fleet & Equipment Management Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs Ensure crews have the tools, equipment, and supplies needed for success Maintain organization and readiness of company assets Customer Service Communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, and vendors Provide updates throughout the restoration process Resolve issues promptly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Qualifications Preferred Experience Supervisory or management experience in contents restoration, mitigation, moving, logistics, warehousing, or related industries Experience leading teams and coordinating multiple projects Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to use tablets, smartphones, and restoration software platforms Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong leadership and decision-making skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods Ability to work in residential and commercial environments, including warehouses and storage facilities Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Short-Term Disability Paid Time Off 3% Company-Matched IRA (after eligibility requirements are met) Career Growth and Advancement Opportunities About Rytech Restoration Rytech Restoration is a nationally recognized leader in water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire and smoke restoration, and contents restoration. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Are you willing to meet this requirement? Do you have at least 2 years of supervisory or management experience? Do you have experience working in contents restoration, water mitigation, moving/logistics, warehousing, or a related industry? Do you have experience supervising employees in the field and assigning daily work tasks? Do you have experience with Content Restoration inventory management, packing, storage, or logistics coordination? Do you have experience handling insurance restoration projects (water, fire, mold, smoke, contents, or mitigation)? Do you have any IICRC restoration-related certifications? Are you able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties?
