ABOUT THE ROLE
The Opera ons Director is responsible for overseeing the organiza ons daily opera ons and ensuring effec ve and efficient opera onal processes across all programming. The Opera ons Director reports to CEO and will work closely with the leadership team to manage internal opera ons and drive opera onal excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong people management skills, deep program and business opera ons, strong analy cal skills and a passion for serving children and families.
PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Opera onal Management Oversee daily opera ons, ensuring processes are efficient and align with the organiza ons objec ves across all programming. Establish and maintain performance metrics for opera onal ac vi es and lead tracking to ensure efficient and effec ve opera ons Ensure strategic goals are met and provide regular reports to CEO Monitor and improve opera onal policies and procedures. Contribute to effec ve internal communica on and collabora on across all departments. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA. Oversee buildings and grounds maintenance. Other responsibili es, as assigned Financial Management Collaborate with the CEO and Office Director to develop and manage the organiza ons budget and financial performance. Collaborate with the Office Director to ensure financial controls and procedures are in place and followed. Manage and opmize opera onal budgets, ensuring cost-effec veness and financial sustainability. Monitor financial performance and report on opera onal efficiency. Support the development teams analy cally and opera onally, as relevant, to meet financial targets and ensure accurate repor ng. Risk Management Iden fy and mi gate opera onal risks. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures. Ensure the organiza on is prepared for emergencies and con ngencies. Create and communicate organiza on-wide safety plan Technology and Infrastructure Management Supervise the IT Support team to maintain effec ve IT opera ons, infrastructure, and soware and ensure it supports opera onal needs. Support implementa on of soware and technology solu ons to enhance opera onal efficiency Ensure data security and compliance with relevant data protec on regula ons Human Resources Provide leadership and direc on to the HR func on, including recruitment, reten on, training, and development of staff. Maintain processes for onboarding and training Collaborate with team to conduct outreach and interviews to fill new posi ons Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support a posi ve organiza onal culture. Ensure the organiza on has the necessary talent and resources to achieve its goals.
