This role ensures the team delivers fast, friendly service, maintains Conex standards, supports private events, and keeps the venue clean, safe, and operating efficiently. The Floor Supervisor leads by example, coaches team members, resolves guest concerns, and serves as the primary point of contact when managers are unavailable. Essential ResponsibilitiesLeadership Lead all Front of House team members during assigned shifts. Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily goals, promotions, and events. Coach employees in real time on service standards and hospitality. Ensure employees follow company policies and procedures. Motivate staff while maintaining a positive and professional work environment. Assist with training new hires. Guest Experience Welcome guests and provide outstanding hospitality. Resolve guest complaints quickly and professionally. Visit tables and event spaces throughout service to ensure satisfaction. Handle guest issues and escalate to management when necessary. Operations Ensure opening, shift change, and closing procedures are completed. Verify the venue is clean, stocked, and guest-ready. Monitor food and beverage quality before reaching guests. Assist bartenders, servers, food runners, and support staff during busy periods. Ensure music, TVs, lighting, patios, bowling lanes, arcade, and event areas are operating properly. Maintain cleanliness throughout the venue, including restrooms, patios, and common areas. Communicate maintenance issues immediately. Event Execution Ensure private events are set up according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth event execution. Monitor timelines during corporate events, parties, concerts, and special events. Assist with room flips and event breakdowns. Ensure guests receive excellent service throughout the event. Cash & Compliance Approve comps, voids, and discounts within company guidelines. Verify cash handling procedures are followed. Enforce Virginia ABC regulations and responsible alcohol service. Ensure ID checks are completed properly. Maintain health, sanitation, and safety standards. Complete shift reports and incident reports as needed. Team Accountability Monitor employee attendance and punctuality. Ensure side work is completed correctly. Document coaching conversations and policy violations. Report disciplinary concerns to management. Help maintain scheduling coverage when unexpected call-outs occur. Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of restaurant, bar, or hospitality leadership experience. Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and bar operations. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of POS systems (Toast preferred). Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, concerts, and special events. Virginia ABC knowledge preferred. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods. Lift up to 50 pounds. Bend, reach, push, and pull frequently. Work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions. Ability to move quickly during high-volume service.
