Job Description

Operations Manager /

EDP Staff Purpose:

Supports day-to-day activities of The Collaborative, including managing communication systems, Extended Day Program/Collaborative Camp, and administration of events and programs. Salary range dependent upon experience : $23.00 - $30.00

Project Management:
Program Operations & Logistics:

Direct the daily logistics, scheduling, supply procurement, and operational setups for all youth programs (EDP and Summer Camp) and organization-wide events.

Compliance & Licensure Oversight:

Ensure the physical environment, student files, and daily operations maintain strict compliance with state childcare licensure standards and health/safety regulations.

Direct Childcare Staffing:

Serve as core direct-care staff within childcare programs (EDP and Summer Camp), actively fostering a safe, secure, and supportive environment for youth. Assist with aspects of child care management, including attendance records. Participate in organizational capacity building and systems creation.

Systems & Administrative Management:

Optimize and manage internal office infrastructure, including data tracking, project management software, billing/fee-for-service systems, and essential administrative workflows.

Communications Coordination:

Oversee the operational side of communication systems, ensuring newsletters, social media platforms, website updates, and public outreach materials are systematically managed and distributed.

Program Work Plan Execution:

Monitor grant-funded timelines and organizational work plans to ensure process and outcome objectives are met efficiently across all active projects.

Core Operations & Project Support Daily Operations:

Perform necessary administrative, clerical, and operational tasks, including the utilization of project collaboration platforms and cloud-based systems.

Project Support:

Support organizational excellence by participating in project planning, activity development, and the facilitation of active initiatives.

Safety & Environment:

Actively promote and maintain a safe, secure, welcoming, and supportive environment for all participants, staff, and community members.

Organizational Administration & Compliance Internal & Regional Collaboration:

Serve on internal cross-functional teams (e.g., communications, enterprise, programs) and actively participate in organizational activities such as staff retreats, strategic planning, and development projects.

•Participate in the management of organizational structure and systems for regional projects, including Advisory Committees, Prevention Coordination teams, and Lead Teams.

Compliance & Regulations:

Maintain strict adherence to all Federal, State, and local regulations, including childcare licensure standards and organizational best practices.

Financial Stewardship:

Work collaboratively as a team member to support budget creation, resource management, and fiscal accountability.

Data, Evaluation, & Learning Data & Grant Tracking:

Collect, track, and maintain accurate data and paperwork required by grant funding and organizational metrics.

Program Evaluation:

Actively participate in project evaluations and apply findings to improve program outcomes.

Continuous Learning:

Complete all required compliance trainings and proactively stay up to date with professional development and industry best practices.

Relationship Building & Community Engagement Stakeholder Engagement:

Foster a collaborative environment by cultivating relationships with community partners, staff, and stakeholders to advance shared goals and drive positive change.

Information Dissemination:

Manage and participate in the professional dissemination of information to both internal teams and external partners.

Ambassadorial:

Professionally represent the organization's mission, vision, and successes in public arenas and community spaces.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Autonomy & Collaboration:

Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also operating effectively as an adaptable member of a team.

Other Duties Flexibility:

Perform other duties as directed by the leadership of The Collaborative.

Pay:

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
