Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.
Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, electric rider jacks, electric pallet jacks, trailer lift gates and pallet wrap machinesMinimum 6 months of related experience or 1 full year non-related employment experienceMust be able to lift 50+ pound repeatedlyMust be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, wheat, and soy.
Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperaturesAvailable to work overtime as required What will you do as a Shipper/Receiverat Dawn Foods?
Correctly select, palletize, and shrink wrap customers' orders preparing them for delivery.
Receive and stock inbound product in its designated locations. Rotate and replenish current stock in its designated locations.
Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashionAbility to understand and operate handheld computer and scanning devices for SAP that is used for all aspects of warehouse operationsMaintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling proceduresPerform other related duties incidental to work described hereinSupport the Circle of Excellence and the Dawn Philosophy of Team Dawn Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to grasp, move, or utilize objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds and frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds.

Shift Schedule:
Sunday -Thursday:
3:30 pm - 11:30 pm (until finished)Overtime and Weekends required based on business needs. Job Purpose and OverviewAs a Shipper/Receiver you will participate in the distribution warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of products to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation.
