Although MTI began as a tool & die heat treater, the company now offers full service capabilities that include: Vacuum Processing of the Tool Steels, Induction, Carburizing, and Neutral Hardening. MTI has broad range of customers. Customer satisfaction has been demonstrated by customer loyalty.
Job Summary:
Analyzes customer's purchase order, initiates shop traveler in compliant to customer specification and special process requirements.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Analyzes customer's purchase order, specification and special process requirements to ensure compliance. When necessary, responsible for contacting the customer and resolving all process and quality discrepancies concerning the order. Responsible for creating and reviewing the Shop Traveler to ensure that all instructions from the customer's purchase order and other related documents (e.g. prints) have been properly transferred onto the Shop Traveler. Responsible for releasing SPEC Orders to heat-treating when all process and quality issues have been satisfied. Communicate with customers to verify details about heat treating orders. Complete all required paperwork. Adheres to all safety standards and procedures, and maintains an ongoing awareness of safety for self and others in assigned work areas. Participates in company sponsored training as required. Assist with Shipping and Receiving needs in ROS when needed.
Qualifications:
Heat-treating experience (preferred) Ability to read and understand specifications and prints Ability to work well with customers and division employees. Basic Computer skills, that include typing, and windows system knowledge. Strong written and verbal communications.
Working Conditions:
Office and factory environment, may encounter dirt, dust, oil, and varying temperatures.
Physical Requirements:
Walking, Climbing stairs, and Sitting at desk for long intervals. Required to wear safety shoes when working on the production floor. Able to lift 40-50 pounds.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, with a 30-minute required unpaid lunch
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
