Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Material handling for all production areas { Deliver correct packaging to production lines and store filled packaging in the warehouse} Shipping functions including unloading and sorting containers/totes/racks, loading, staging, etc. Inventory Control of materials, components and finished goods Packaging control (Mass Pro, cardboard, New Model) Repacking components into finished goods for shipments Repacking service components into finished goods service shipments Issue components lineside using the kanban system for the entire plant Maintain 5S for entire plant Willing to work in all areas of Logistics Unload/Receive components - product verification, scanning, stocking Staging/Shipping components and returnable containers to outsource suppliers in Receiving Physical Inventory activities Other duties as requiredQualifications/Skills:
1 year experience in logistics, warehouse, or material handling; automotive or manufacturing experience preferred. Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and barcode scanners. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and operate material handling equipment safely. Basic computer skills and understanding of production documentation.Work Environment:
Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and various materials. Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Ability to work and maneuver in tight spots and around potentially dangerous equipment. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Full-time, with potential for overtime based on production needs. Shifts may include days, evenings, or weekends.Req Benefits:
