Job Description

The basic responsibility of this position is to perform "visual" inspection on incoming product as described in HBA Quality Management System to assure that product meets HBA Purchase Order requirements, regulatory and customer requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
 100% visual inspection using the "Tin Soldier Technique" and perform a piece-by-piece workmanship review. Specifically looking for correct part marking, part configuration, damage, contamination or FOD, surface appearance and to ensure that product appearance is of a level consistent with drawing and specification requirements  Other specific areas of visual inspection detection include but are not limited to: Obvious product damage, tooling marks, consistency of finish applications, discoloration, burrs, dings, surface scratches, cracks, laps, seams, and edge breaks.  Verification / validation of product count and package requirements  Basic print reading (Part finish, Revision Level and Packaging requirements)  Detect and report defect identification  To identify and report counterfeit product  Use of Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges and scales  Operation of Keyence Imaging System  Creating receiver label within HB Operating System  Filling out Part Rejection Tag  Filling out Form

 Close coordination with Supplier Management, and MRB activity  Interface with other functional team members to identify and pursue opportunities for process improvement and quality improvement.  Other warehouse activities as required supporting operations.
IE:
Cycle / inventory counts, bagging, sleeving, repackaging, picking and shipment packing as trained and directed.

Qualifications:
 Must be a United States Citizen  High School diploma or GED, or currently enrolled  Capable of working within a matrix organization  Requires good oral and written communication, analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills.

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
