Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Associate to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packaging pharmaceutical products while adhering to strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Your energetic approach will help ensure smooth production flow and maintain our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Work with a team of other Packaging Operators to fill bottles, bags, or other containers, with pharmaceutical products in the form of liquids or powders. Label each container, make sure the correct label is being used, and load containers into boxes for shipment to customers. Use internal forms to document every step of the procedure as it is done, according to FDA standards. Keep track of time spent on each product using internal forms provided. Personal cleanliness and the cleanliness of the product is of primary concern. Attention to detail is mandatory. Clean and prepare the area to be used for packaging before each job. Read and strictly follow the written instruction in Packaging Masters. Ask questions when they arise. Ability to meet daily quota requirements regarding production of filled, labeled, boxed products. Ability to work quickly and efficiently, while performing job accurately. Ability to stay focused on the task and not be distracted by non-productive socializing. Use machinery provided, fill containers with product, according to its proper measurement. Use machinery provided, label each container with the correct product label. Inspect each label for accuracy, cleanliness, legibility, and overall appearance. Document detail regarding the product you are working with. Be prepared to have your work inspected by Quality personnel regularly. Maintain cleanliness of Packaging Room or area. Accurately and neatly document packaging information. Learn and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Document Practices (GDP) and other technical reading as established by the FDA. Good organizational skills and efficient use of time. Good handwriting and printing - clear and readable. Ability to get along well with co-workers and management - a team member. Good verbal and written communication skills . Ability to work well with a variety of equipment: filling, capping machinery, hand-held taper, Case Erector, etc. Ability to operate motorized pallet jacks and a variety of tools. Willingness to work closely with quality personnel to assure production of excellent product. Ability and willingness to follow SOP, IOSHA and GMP requirements. Keep packaging equipment clean and in good repair. Report any real or perceived problems to management and quality department immediately upon recognition. Meeting reasonable packaging deadlines. Required packaging time is one Dakin's batch per day. Take personal responsibility for own actions. Ability to be honest and communicate with co-workers and management. Perform other duties as directed by supervisor. Comply with cGMP, cGLP and other regulations.
