A Loader places cabinets and parts into a trailer using hand dollies and pallet jacks; ensuring that the load is correct and secure for transport.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Load cabinets into trailers following the Handling, Staging, and Loading requirementsPackaging cabinets while moving down the assembly line and using strapping machine to secure box for loadingUse scanning system to ensure correct components are assembled Accurately interpret production labels and scan cabinets and parts Occasionally use a pallet jack to move skids of parts for loadingMaintain a safe work environment, including housekeepingOther duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to follow all handling, staging, and loading (HSL) requirementsAbility to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variancesAbility to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Required Physical Ability:
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of timeFrequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushingRegularly lift and/or move up to 30lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb
