Job Description

Final Inspector Shift
  • 6:00am
  • 4:30pm
Monday-Friday Pay:
$17.00/hr Weekend availability necessary Trenton Forging Company is seeking a Final Inspector to join our team. This role is responsible for performing final inspection of finished forged parts to ensure they meet customer specifications and internal quality standards prior to shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and experienced in identifying product defects and maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities Perform final visual and dimensional inspection of finished parts Follow Process Control Plans (PCPs) and inspection requirements for each job Measure parts using inspection tools and record results in data collection systems Identify and report nonconforming products Perform basic math calculations for counting, weighing, and product evaluation Properly package finished parts for shipment Operate a forklift (hi-lo) as needed (training provided) Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards) Communicate quality concerns to supervision Support additional quality and production tasks as needed Qualifications Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment required High school diploma or GED preferred Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges preferred Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Work Environment / Physical Requirements Standing for extended periods of time Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting up to 25 lbs Hands-on work in a manufacturing environment Benefits At Trenton Forging Company, we are committed to providing the ideal climate for personal and professional development for all of our team members. HSA Note:
If an employee opts out of their medical coverage with Trenton Forging Company, the Company will pay the employee $70 weekly
  • totaling $3640 annually.
Dental, Vision and Accident Insurance plans through Guardian are also available at negligible costs to the employee. If the employee selects one of the HSA medical plans above, they are automatically enrolled in a Health Savings Account (HSA). The Company makes $500 annual contributions for employees who choose single-person medical coverage and $1000 annual contributions for coverage of 2 or more persons. Life Insurance Our forging company automatically pays for a $15,000 life insurance policy for each employee. Additional life insurance may be purchased by the employee, up to $100,000 in employee coverage, $50,000 in spousal coverage, and $10,000 coverage per child. 401(k) On the first month after 60 days of employment, all employees are eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan with Merrill Lynch. In profitable years, the Company may match employee contributions with discretionary bonuses to all employees currently participating in our 401(k) plan. Tuition Reimbursement
