We are excited to announce an immediate full-time opening for an Inspector/Examiner at our factory located just 15 minutes away from Reading, PA! Our positions are key parts of the artisan hat making and the hat finishing processes. You will work with skilled mentors as they share their craft with you and pass down decades of knowledge within this specialized craft. These positions do not require experience but do require candidates that have attention to detail, a willingness to learn and the ability to understand the importance of each person's role in creating high-quality headwear. Our full-time positions have the following schedule: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm (Our summer hours are 5am-1:30pm starting after July 4th and going through Labor Day). We are looking for the following: Strong work ethic Excellent communication skills Good attention to detail Positive demeanor Ability to lift/push/pull 25-50 lbs. on a regular basis for some of our more physical positions Ability to navigate stairs/stairwells Access to reliable transportation Ability to work with wool material and products Ability to work in environments that can become extremely hot/humid A passion to do things right the first time is a must!
