Job Description

Job Summary The Package builder is responsible for all material that are coming on his/her area. Is also responsible for checking quality and tolerances coming from machinery and warehouse and check sizes with measure tape. Housekeeping tasks are also appointed. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring all material needed is correct and sequenced batch. Responsible for reorder stiles, rails and panels Responsible for housekeeping action items performed daily at company standards Responsible for complete work orders executed per schedule and sequence. Responsible for leading by example in regards to attendance, PPE requirements, breaks, and to drive compliance in all areas. Additional duties as assigned by Department Supervisor. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be able to distinguish wood species and different kind of styles. Must be able to perform basic math skills and the ability to read a measuring tape. Must have a strong sense of urgency in completing assigned daily duties as needed. Must have a basic ability for reading and writing, Education and Experience Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Will take work experience in lieu of Education. Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions Factory environment, possibly including areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators as required. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry loads up to 30 pounds.
