Job Description
Job Summary The Process Tech will be responsible for operating specialized pieces of equipment and working alongside the manufacturing team to ascertain high-volume production. Successful candidates must have attention to detail, ability to handle constant change, and excellent time management skills. The Process Tech will need to be able to learn quickly and follow instructions to consistently create a high-quality product. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Operate machines that perform machining functions. Support all areas within the assigned department. Be clear of the hazards in the machine shop and follow all safety procedures. Operate machines under the guidance of a supervisor. Read blueprints and specifications and make suggestions for improvements. Be familiar with the machining process. Take apart machines if necessary for maintenance or repair. Check for acceptable quality standards. Education and Experience High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent desired. 3 years of experience in machine operations or manufacturing. Monitoring equipment in a painting capacity helpful
