Job Description

Job Summary The PC Priority Batch Validator/Expeditor is responsible for controlling, verifying and communicating production schedule attainment for the assigned department. He/ she will also be responsible for ensuring that Department subassemblies are properly sequenced and complete for transfer into the next department. Also, he/she will also be responsible for initiating, monitoring and delivery of parts generated through the part expedite process for all expedite tickets within the Department. Counting and verifying that all subassemblies are complete, sequenced properly and labeled correctly. Scanning and input subassembly quantity data into computer system. Communicating schedule attainment status with the Department Supervisor and PC Lead by printing and using PC Control reports.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have basic math skills. Must be able to read a tape measure. Must have basic computer data entry skills. Must be able to work overtime and occasionally Saturdays. Knowledge of Leedo door styles highly desirable. Knowledge of cabinet frame configurations is highly desirable. Education and Experience Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Will take work experience in lieu of Education. Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions Factory environment, possibly including areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators as required. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry loads up to 30 pounds.
