Overview We are seeking a reliable Part Time Associate to join our team packing orders for our small farm and team. This role involves packing individual orders correctly. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in warehouse or retail settings, ability to handle heavy lifting and being on your feet all day walking in and out of a freezer. Familiarity with inventory management systems are a plus. This is not a meat packing plant, the meat is already frozen and individually packaged. Duties Pack orders via a packing slip Sorting meat cuts by type and weight Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock replenishment Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of storage areas, including freezer units and workspaces Support shipping & receiving activities by sorting and organizing shipments efficiently Ensure proper packaging of products for sale or shipment according to company standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shipping operations, including stocking shelves and maintaining organized workspaces Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse operations, grocery store stocking, or retail sales preferred but not required Capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and stock accuracy - most important! Excellent communication skills Experience with produce handling, packaging, shipping & receiving is beneficial Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This position is ideal for motivated individuals seeking part-time employment that offers variety in daily tasks while contributing to a well-organized frozen meat operation. The hours are Monday & Tuesday 8-5, with a possibility of more hours on Wednesday to restock freezers.
